Parents who would like for their kindergarten-12th grade student to switch from In-Person Learning to Virtual Learning during the second semester of the 20-21 school year (January 4th-May 21st) will need to complete the enrollment form below by December 11th.
Completion of this form will allow school staff to work with you and the Virtual Learning program to ensure that your child is enrolled in the appropriate courses for their grade level and interests.
Students participating in Virtual Learning, will still be enrolled in the Clinton School District, but will receive their instruction through Launch. Launch is a virtual program provided through the Springfield Public School District. Classes are taught by Missouri educators using Missouri Learning Standards and curriculum. You can find out more about Launch at
www.fueledbylaunch.com as well as by viewing the Virtual Learning FAQ document on our website.
Students who participate in Launch will need to spend approximately 5 to 6 hours per day in classes, just as they would if they were in school. There will be homework. Some of the work will be online and some of it will be done as learning activities off-line. Students will be graded on their work, regular assessments will be given and attendance will be taken.
If needed, the Clinton School District can provide a Chromebook for students to use while participating in Virtual Learning. Parents will be responsible for providing reliable internet.
